In other words well be covering the material presented in my books and videos. Participants should come prepared for two days packed with fun and great learning! Everyone who attends an introductory clinic is a full participant.
Advanced Clinics:
These clinics take the participants beyond the basics begun in the Introductory Clinics. I share my personal passion in dressage and the development of a horses balance and gaits. In these advanced clinics I show you how to use the clicker to develop upper- level performance work. The prerequisite for these clinics is that all the horses must be clicker-trained before the clinic.
In the Advanced 2nd Level Clinics participants must have watched at least the first two Click That Teaches videos. They do not need to have mastered the material, or even to have tried it, but they need to be familiar with the concepts and lessons covered in the tapes.
In the Advanced 3rd Level Clinics participants need to have watched the first four Click That Teaches videos. How far we progress in each clinic depends upon the experience level of the horses and handlers.
Clicker Challenges
Clicker challenges use the skills handlers have been learning in the clinics to compete in a friendly competition. Participants work in teams to solve training puzzles. To learn more about Clicker Challenges click here.
I will be giving a limited number of clinics in 2003. If you would like to host a clinic, please contact me at: kurlanda@crisny.org
